Some of the things the McBaby got up to in March:
*Visited the Ideal Home Show where he climbed up on stage before Martin Lewis' talk and then started shouting during the presentation itself.
*Climbed the stairs more than 200 times prompting everyone we know to ask why we haven't installed gates. (The answer is because our house is so tiny, we can't get any to fit!)
*May have stopped breastfeeding (this is a work in progress. Spare a thought for my poor chest if you have a moment).
*Slept through the night in his cot! Hurrah! (Once).
*Learned how to do Heads, Shoulders, Knees and toes.
*Spent a day with his aunt.
*Said "Grandma" to his grandma when she needed it most.
*tried out a new singing class where he kept running towards the door and laughing.
*Let go of my hand and ran into a pub
*Utterly refused to co-operate with the new reins I bought him
*Really got to grips with Peepo and Nosey Norman - two books that he absolutely loves. He shouts "Peepo" (or "dedo" in McBaby language) and puts his finger in the hole to make Nosey Norman's nose work.
*Grew. Like massively. He is not a baby anymore, that's for sure.
*Helped himself to a set of beermats at a jumble sale.

I once got a massive 36% in an art exam at school, so am keen that it's MrM who teaches the McBaby to draw, not me.
However, I made an exception for the above which is a competition with Booktrust where you draw your child's favourite nursery rhyme and get them to make marks on it.
Guess what ours is!!

I don't know why, but meeting bloggers in real life is hugely thrilling and today was a chance to meet some from the worlds of parenting and food blogs! In Bristol!
I was at #Blogsummit at M Shed and met this lady
What a great site - as a terrible and completely uninspired cook (even the non-fussy Mcbaby gave me a bit of a look when I served up cheesy pasta again), I'll definitely be looking at this.

Gosh I whinged a bit in my last post!!
I think that was tiredness talking as the McBaby means the world to me and I shouldn't complain about the ONE thing that is not incredible about him. Having said that, I am actually quite a nice person when I've had at least five hours' sleep!
I thought I'd share some pictures that I found on my camera. I didn't even know they were there but came across them when I was sending some pics to my friend. Lord knows how I managed it, but I have two inspirational and amazing friends who invited us to join them in Nice as part of their European tour. I strongly suspect they won't ask us again as we spent the whole three days jumping up mid-conversation and trying to stop the McBaby sticking his hand in sockets/stealing purses/walking into restaurant kitchens (you get the picture).
Anyway, it looks like the McBaby got hold of my camera and took some pics. What's interesting is that they give a candid view of what he must think he looks like. There's also one in there of me that he took when he caught me off guard. It looks like I'm lazing about, but I'm actually looking at a map and trying to work out how to get to the restaurant without taking the tram!

I was told earlier this week at nursery that the McBaby didn't eat any lunch and napped for an hour and a half.
I could not believe my ears.
That doesn't sound like him.
And it wasn't. It wasn't until I got home that my poor addled brain realised that the name at the top of his report sheet was wrong and I'd been given someone else's details.
